Token Pocket has integrated BlockRazor's Scutum RPC to provide users with anti-MEV services on Ethereum and BSC. With a simple setup in Token Pocket, your transactions will be fully protected! In the past month, we have provided robust protection for nearly 10 million transactions, saving users from a potential loss of $3 million caused by MEV attacks!

What is MEV? Never heard of it before.
MEV is known as an invisible tax on user transactions. When you send a transaction to the blockchain network, MEV bots hunt it down to make profit. But, most users are completely unaware of attacks from MEV bots.
According to our user research, although almost everyone has experienced MEV attacks, over 50.4% of users do not know what MEV is, and 27.9% of users have heard of it but do not know what impact it has. For attackers, this is a high-profit, low-risk field, where they can earn profits at almost no cost, and the victims may be completely unaware.
How does MEV cause losses?
Let’s tell a story between Tom and Jerry.
Tom wants to buy 1 BNB. The estimated price is 700 USDT, so he submits a transaction with a 1% slippage through TokenPocket.

Tom’s transaction is submitted to the public mempool and broadcast to the entire network. Now everyone knows that Tom wants to buy 1 BNB and has set a slippage of 1%. Therefore, Tom's maximum acceptable price is 707 USDT.
At this time, the attacker Jerry constructs a sandwich attack:
- First, Jerry cuts the line and buys 1 BNB for 700 USDT before Tom's transaction.
- Next, it's Tom's turn. Jerry bought the BNB in advance, and the BNB on the market decreased, so the price of BNB rose to 707 USDT. This is within Tom's acceptable range, so Tom's purchase is successful, and he is very happy.
- Jerry is also very happy, because the price of BNB has risen. He made a profit of 7 USDT for selling the 1 BNB he bought before.
I wonder if Tom would still be happy if someone told him that he could have bought 1 BNB for 700 USDT rather than 707 USDT?

(For ease of understanding, the process and transaction details have been simplified.)
How can I protect my transaction?
Think about it, why was Tom's transaction attacked? The most important reason is that Tom's transaction was broadcast to the entire network, and anyone could know Tom's transaction and launch an attack. So, if the transaction is not broadcast to the entire network, but enters a private mempool and cannot be viewed by anyone before it is finally included, wouldn't that solve the problem?
This comes out the anti-MEV RPC. When you send your transaction to BlockRazor's Scutum RPC, it will put your transaction into a private mempool, and no one will be able to access your transaction. When a block is produced, the transactions in these private mempool are packaged into the block along with the transactions in the public mempool.

The safe and fast RPC —— BlockRazor Scutum
For RPCs, in addition to privacy protection, speed is equally important. According to our tests, when using BlockRazor's Scutum RPC, 98% of transactions can be included within 1 block, which not only guarantees the user's security experience, but also brings users a fast speed experience that is no different from traditional RPCs.
